Who we are
GamesYap is a free online games website made by a small team of players and game developers. We started it with one simple idea: good browser games should open in seconds, run on any phone or computer and treat players fairly. No downloads, no installs and nothing to pay — pick a game and play.
The name says what we are about: games you can jump into, and a place to yap — to compare scores and share a favourite with a friend.
What makes GamesYap different
- Original games. Most games on GamesYap are designed, drawn and built by our own team. Every game has its own name, world and characters — we take a familiar genre such as pool, sudoku, cricket or a platformer and give it a fresh twist. We never copy another company's game, characters or brand.
- Made for every screen. Each game is designed for phones in portrait and landscape, tablets and computers, with touch, mouse and keyboard controls.
- Fair by design. Puzzle levels are checked by solver programs so they can always be finished, computer opponents are balanced by simulation, and there is nothing to buy inside the games.
- Kept up to date. We keep improving games after launch. Every game page shows its version and "What's new" notes.

How points work
With a free account, every game you play adds to one points balance, with a per-game breakdown on your profile. Points come only from real gameplay that our servers check — finishing levels, finishing matches and unlocking achievements — using a fixed table shown on each game's page and on our Points Rules page. Points are never sold, never come from ads and never come from spins, chests or other random rewards. If you meet the age rule and RevType is available on your platform, you can transfer your points to your own RevType account. Learn more in How GamesYap points work.
Safe for young players
Every game has an age rating. Children under 13 can play without an account; they see a child-safe catalog and only non-personalized ads. Read our Parents' Guide for details.
How we keep it free
GamesYap is supported by ads. They are always labelled, kept away from game controls and never shown during active play — the game pauses and mutes whenever an ad is on screen. Our Cookies & Ads page explains how this works and the choices you have.

Developers
Some games come from independent developers who publish with us. Every game goes through the same review before it goes live: we check the files, scan for hidden ads and trackers, set an age rating and test it on phones and desktops. Developers who want to join can read our Developers page.
