How GamesYap Points Work: Earning, Limits and Fair Play
How GamesYap points work: earning them by playing, published points tables and daily limits, why points are held and what is never allowed.
By GamesYap Team5 min read

GamesYap points are a single balance that grows as you play games across the site. They reward real progress — finishing levels, winning matches and unlocking achievements — and they work the same way in every game. Here is exactly how they work.
Think of points as a fun way to track your progress across every game on GamesYap. All of them collect in one balance, and your profile shows a breakdown by game, so you can see where your points came from.
Points come from gameplay only
You earn points when our servers confirm that you:
- finished a level (for example, a stage in a cricket chase or a puzzle on the sudoku path),
- finished a match (games can pay fixed amounts for a win, a loss or a draw),
- unlocked an achievement (a fixed amount, once).
Every game publishes its own points table on its page, for example "10 points per level, up to 200 per day". What you see is what you get.
Reading a points table
A points table answers two questions: how many points one counted result is worth, and how many points that game can give you in a period of time. Take the example above, "10 points per level, up to 200 per day":
- Each level that our servers count adds 10 points.
- After 20 counted levels in that game on the same day, you have reached its 200-point daily limit.
- You can keep playing that game for fun, but further levels that day add no more points from it.
Because the tables are fixed and published, you always know in advance what a counted result is worth.

What never gives points
- Ads: watching or clicking an ad never gives points. Some games offer coins or a retry for watching an optional ad — coins are an in-game currency for looks and helpers, not points.
- Purchases: points can never be bought.
- Random rewards: spins, chests and other random rewards never give or change points.
Watching an ad is never required, either. When a game offers in-game help such as a retry or an extra life for an optional ad, there is always a free option too, such as a free retry after a short wait. Ads are labelled "Advertisement", never cover game controls and never appear during active play.
Limits keep it fair
Each game has limits per session, per hour and per day, and there is also an overall daily limit across all games. Limits make sure points reflect normal play, not endless grinding or automation.
Why some points are "held"
New points can be held for a short time while fair-play checks run. Your profile shows when held points will become available.
Fair play checks
Our servers check every result. Levels finished impossibly fast, impossible scores and unusual activity are not counted. Bots, scripts, modified games, exploiting bugs and using several accounts are not allowed — points collected that way are removed and the account may be closed.
These checks are also why games on GamesYap need an internet connection, on the website and in the apps. If your connection drops, the game pauses and carries on once you are back online, and the points you earned are sent then.

Do I need an account?
You can play every game without an account. To collect and keep points, you need a free account (13 or older), which also saves your progress, favorites and recently played games across devices.
You can sign up with an email and password, with Google or with Sign in with Apple. We ask for your birth year so we can show games that suit your age. The GamesYap apps for Android and iOS use the same account and the same points as the website, so your balance follows you.
If you ever delete your account, it really deletes your account data — including your points and history — so think about that before you go ahead.
Moving points to RevType
RevType is a separate platform run by the same company as GamesYap. Where RevType is available on your platform and you meet the age rule shown on the Points page, you can transfer available points to your own RevType account at the published rate, above a minimum and within a daily limit. Read the full Points Rules for details.
To transfer, open Points, connect your RevType account and choose how many points to move. Only points move between the two accounts. The age rule is 18 or older unless the Points page shows otherwise.
Questions or problems?
If something about your points looks wrong, or a game won't load or seems broken, use Report a problem on the game's page, our contact form or email support@gamesyap.com. Include the game's name and your device, and we will help.

FAQ
How do I earn GamesYap points?
Sign in and play: finishing levels, finishing matches and unlocking achievements earn points according to the points table on each game's page. Our servers check every result before points are added. All points collect in one balance, and your profile shows a breakdown by game.
Can I earn points by watching ads?
No. Points never come from ads. Optional ads in some games can give in-game coins or a retry, but never points. Points can't be bought either, and spins, chests or other random rewards never give or change them. Watching an ad is always optional, because there is a free option too.
Why are my points held?
New points can be held for a short time while fair-play checks run. Your profile shows when they become available. Holding points briefly lets our servers confirm that results came from normal gameplay before the points can be used, which keeps the system fair for everyone.
Is there a limit to how many points I can earn?
Yes. Every game has limits per session, per hour and per day, and there is an overall daily limit across all games. The limits for each game are shown in its points table. Once you reach a game's limit, you can still play it for fun.
Do my points work in the GamesYap apps?
Yes. The GamesYap apps for Android and iOS use the same account and the same points as the website. Like the website, the apps need an internet connection to play, because our servers check every result before it counts.
