Nova Strike is a free space shooter you can play online in your browser, with no download needed. Fly with Captain Nova through sectors full of alien drones, divers, tanks and spinners. Your starfighter fires on its own, so you focus on dodging, chaining kills into combos, and grabbing power-ups to grow a five-way storm of shots.
Every sector ends with a cartoon alien commander in a giant mothership. Quick kills charge the Nova blast, which wipes every enemy shot off the screen. Once you beat your first mothership, Mothership Rush opens: all five commanders back to back with a race clock, stars and a best time.
Earn stars on the sector map, finish the daily challenge for bonus coins, and unlock new ship paint jobs in the Hangar. It plays on phones, tablets and computers. Nova Strike is an original game made by the GamesYap team. Prefer fighting on foot? Try Shamble Siege.
Yes. Nova Strike is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. Every sector, Mothership Rush and the daily challenge are free. Coins you earn only unlock new ship paint jobs, which never change your weapons.

It is an action game where you pilot a ship, shoot waves of enemies and dodge their fire. Many, like Nova Strike, scroll forward and end each stage with a boss. Power-ups make your weapons stronger as you go.
Mothership Rush is a boss rush mode that opens after you beat your first mothership. You fight all five alien commanders in a row as fast as you can. Fewer hits earn more stars, and each continue adds 20 seconds to your time.
The Nova blast clears every enemy shot on the screen at once. It charges as you make quick kills and build combos. When it is full, tap NOVA or press Space. It is a lifesaver in dense boss attacks.
