Leap Quest is a free platformer adventure you can play online in your browser, with no download needed. Join Juni, a brave young explorer, and Pip, her little fox, across 16 hand-made levels in four worlds.
Run through the sunny Whisperwood under snowy mountains, leap over glowing lava in the Crystal Depths, hop across floating islands in the Cloud Kingdom, and climb the Aurora Peaks, where crumbling ice cracks under your feet beneath the northern lights. Every level starts with a clear goal: reach the flag and grab the gems for three stars.
Stomp slimes, goblins, skeletons and bats, chain stomps into combos, and ride rafts and lifts and bounce on springs. Thumb-sized on-screen buttons, a friendly first-play coach and forgiving jumps make it easy to pick up for kids and new players. It plays on phones, tablets and computers. Leap Quest is an original game made by the GamesYap team. For a trickier, trap-filled challenge, try Gotcha Steps.
Yes. Leap Quest is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. All 16 levels and the daily challenge are free. Gems become coins at the end of a level, and coins only unlock new heroes.
Version 2.0.4Nov 2, 2026
2.0.2: Smoother on phones: lighter drawing every frame, less stutter. 2.0.1: Runs smoother on phones: no more sudden freezes, less stutter, and touches are never lost. The points icon now shows where your points go. 2.0.0: Big update: a fourth world, Aurora Peaks, with four new levels (13-16) on snowy mountains under the northern lights, crumbling ice that cracks and breaks under your feet (and freezes back), snowmen, frosty goblins and a new friend at the flag, plus a new achievement. Livelier worlds: sun and moon rays, drifting ground mist, falling leaves, glowing cave spores, sky sparkles and snowfall. A daily gift, three daily quests, a free daily chest (prize chances shown) and free coins. Saves that already finished level 12 find the new world open. 1.2.2: Clearer wording: ad rewards give coins only (never points), daily chests show their prize chances, and a few names were made original. 1.2.1: Sharper graphics on phones: the game no longer drops to a low-resolution canvas on slower devices. 1.2.0: Made for phones and for fun: the game now fills the whole phone screen in portrait and landscape with a closer camera, smaller translucent thumb-sized buttons and a HUD that keeps the top-left corner free. New cartoon cast made with the GamesYap character kit: Juni the explorer (with Pip the fox following along) and six more heroes to unlock with coins, each with their own look and a matching fox; slime, goblin and skeleton enemies with faces and expressions; a friend waits at every flag and cheers when you arrive. Every level starts with a goal card (reach the flag, collect the gems for three stars) and the HUD shows mini stars as you collect them. New world map with a path of levels, stars, locks and a coin chest for each world; next-hero teaser with a progress bar; stomp combos and gem streaks; new best time and new star record moments; a daily challenge with fixed rules (coins only); a first-play coach that teaches running, jumping, gems and stomping by doing them. Livelier scenes: birds, bats and hot-air balloons in the sky, light music per world, slow motion and camera zoom with confetti at the flag. 1.1.0: Big visual and playability upgrade: pseudo-3D terrain with lit top faces, side faces and soft cast shadows; layered parallax worlds (snowy mountains, misty pine forest, glowing crystal caves with dynamic light, floating sky islands with waterfalls); redrawn outlined fox with blinking, squash and stretch, ground shadow and seven outfits bought with coins from gems. Camera follows up and down and zooms in on phones; whole-screen touch controls (left half runs, right half jumps) with big buttons; forgiving jumps (longer coyote time, jump buffer, corner correction, apex hang); hits knock you back instead of sending you home, pits and lava return you to the last safe spot, checkpoints refill hearts and more checkpoints in long levels; wooden tutorial signs; level progress bar; standard win screen (coins, optional 2x coins) and continue screen (free continue with timer, optional ad, restart level); faster rendering with pre-baked art. 1.0.2: New GamesYap arcade-night look: brand menus, chunky buttons, glossy panels, star results and loading screen with bundled Lilita One + Nunito fonts; English text and digits everywhere. 1.0.1: Upright phones get a zoomed-in portrait camera with on-screen buttons; English text everywhere. 1.0.0: First release.

Yes. Leap Quest has cute cartoon characters, forgiving jumps, checkpoints that refill your hearts and a coach that shows how to play. Enemies are silly slimes, goblins and bats, and you defeat them simply by jumping on them.
Reach the flag and collect the level's gems. The number of gems you need for each star shows next to the gem counter. Gems are sometimes hidden off the main path, so explore a little.
There are four worlds with four levels each: the Whisperwood forest, the lava-filled Crystal Depths, the floating Cloud Kingdom and the icy Aurora Peaks. Finish a world's last level to move on to the next one on the world map.
