Bubble Reef is a free bubble shooter you can play online in your browser, with no download needed. Dive into a sunlit coral reef and pop your way through 36 bubbly levels. Drag to aim, follow the dotted guide, and match three or more bubbles of a colour to pop them.
The guide shows every wall bounce and glows on the bubbles that will pop. Everything hanging below a popped group tumbles down for big bonus points. Set off urchin bombs, cut loose heavy rocks, rescue starfish and earn rainbow bubbles along the way.
Kai the diver guides you on a six-area reef journey, with a goal card for every level, a daily dive, free retries and seven reef themes to unlock. It plays on phones, tablets and computers. Bubble Reef is an original game made by the GamesYap team. For more colour matching, try Gem Cascade.
Yes. Bubble Reef is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. All 36 levels, the daily dive and free retries are included. Coins only unlock reef themes for looks.
Yes. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. On a phone you drag to aim and lift your finger to shoot. Drag back down to cancel a shot you don't want to take.
You shoot coloured bubbles at a cluster on the board. When your bubble touches two or more of the same colour, the group pops. Any bubbles left hanging with no connection fall too. Clear the board before you run out of shots.
Each level's goal card shows how many shots earn each star. Clear the reef using fewer shots by aiming at bubbles that hold up large groups, so many bubbles fall at once. Bank shots off the walls help you reach the right spot.
Yes. Bubble Reef has bright ocean art, a friendly diver guide and a helpful aiming line that shows where each bubble lands. Levels start easy and add new ideas slowly, so children can learn at their own pace.
Version 2.0.4Nov 2, 2026
2.0.2: Smoother on phones: lighter drawing every frame, less stutter. 2.0.1: Runs smoother on phones: no more sudden freezes, less stutter, and touches are never lost. The points icon now shows where your points go. 2.0.0: Big update: a seventh reef theme, Sunset Lagoon; a sea turtle glides through the reef, the fish are brighter and sunlight dances on the sand; a daily gift, three daily quests, a free daily chest (prize chances shown) and free coins. 1.2.2: Clearer wording: ad rewards give coins only (never points), daily chests show their prize chances, and a few names were made original. 1.2.1: Sharper graphics on phones: the game no longer drops to a low-resolution canvas on slower devices. 1.2.0: Meet Kai, a cartoon diver who stands on the sand beside the reef: he gives the tips, cheers your combos, worries when shots run low and celebrates every clear. A goal card before each level shows the target, the shots for each star and the coins to win. The HUD now counts the bubbles left to clear. A six-area reef journey map with stars and locks replaces the level grid, a new daily dive (the same reef for everybody each day, coins only), big combo pops, confetti, slow-motion drops, first-clear and new-best moments, a next-theme teaser, and a header that keeps clear of the back button on 9:16 phones. 1.1.0: Big polish: lit 3D bubbles with soft shadows, a painted parallax reef with light rays, fish, jellyfish, swaying kelp and plankton, a conch cannon with recoil, splashier pops and tumbling drops. A smarter aim guide that marks wall bounces and highlights what will pop, steadier touch aiming, a guided first level with tips, re-tuned levels with a smooth difficulty curve and fairer bubble colours, the standard GamesYap result screens with free retry, coins and six unlockable reef themes. 1.0.0: First release: 36 reef levels, urchin bombs, rocks, starfish and rainbow bubbles.
