Gem Cascade is a free match 3 game you can play online in your browser, with no download needed. Swap sparkling, faceted gems to line up three or more of a kind, then watch them shatter and cascade into chain reactions as new gems fall in.
Digby the miner guides you through six mines and 24 levels, including the Sky Geode. Each level asks you to collect certain gems before your moves run out, with three stars to win. Match four in a row to forge a Line Gem that blasts a whole row or column, or match five or an L or T shape for a Burst Gem.
Free hints, a daily dig and five cave themes to unlock make it a relaxing puzzle for kids and grown-ups. It plays on phones, tablets and computers. Gem Cascade is an original game made by the GamesYap team. If you like popping colours, try Bubble Reef.
Yes. Gem Cascade is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. All 24 levels, the daily dig and hints are free. Coins you collect only unlock new cave themes.
Version 2.0.4Nov 2, 2026
2.0.2: Smoother on phones: lighter drawing every frame, less stutter. 2.0.1: Runs smoother on phones: no more sudden freezes, less stutter, and touches are never lost. The points icon now shows where your points go. 2.0.0: Big update: a sixth mine, Sky Geode, with four new levels (21–24, calibrated like the rest); a soft light sweep glides across the board; a daily gift, three daily quests, a free daily chest (prize chances shown) and free coins. 1.2.2: Clearer wording: ad rewards give coins only (never points), daily chests show their prize chances, and a few names were made original. 1.2.1: Sharper graphics on phones: the game no longer drops to a low-resolution canvas on slower devices. 1.2.0: Meet Digby, a cartoon miner with a hard hat, headlamp and pickaxe: he stands beside the board, gives the tips, shows what is still to collect, cheers big cascades, worries when moves run low and celebrates every win. Levels now have clear collect goals (for example 15 emeralds in 14 moves) with live goal counters, gems flying to their counter and stars for finishing with moves to spare; unused moves become bonus points. A goal card before every level, a five-mine journey map with stars and locks, a daily dig (the same mine for everybody each day, coins only), confetti, first-clear and new-best moments, and a next-theme teaser. 1.1.0: Big polish: hand-cut faceted gems with shadows and glints, a layered crystal-cave backdrop with parallax, shattering gem shards, line and burst blasts, cascade banners and new sounds. Portrait and landscape layouts with bigger touch targets, a guided first level, a HINT button, keyboard play, a gentler level curve, retry with 5 extra moves, coins and five unlockable cave themes, and the standard GamesYap result screens. 1.0.1: New GamesYap arcade-night look: brand menus, chunky buttons, glossy panels, star results and loading screen with bundled Lilita One + Nunito fonts; English text and digits everywhere. 1.0.0: First release.

Yes. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. On a phone you swipe a gem onto its neighbour or tap two gems to swap them. On a computer you can drag with the mouse or use the keyboard.
You swap two neighbouring pieces to make a line of three or more of the same kind. The matched pieces disappear, new ones drop in, and any new matches clear too. Each level gives a goal and a limited number of moves.
Match four gems in a straight line to create a Line Gem, which clears a whole row or column. Match five, or make an L or T shape, to create a Burst Gem. Use them on crowded areas to reach your goal faster.
Yes. Gem Cascade has no timer, bright gems, friendly tips from Digby and free hints whenever a player is stuck. Levels start gently and grow slowly, so younger players can learn to look for matches at their own pace.
