Lotus Mahjong is free mahjong solitaire you can play online in your browser, with no download needed. You match pairs of free tiles on a living lotus pond, hosted by Lian, a cheerful cartoon guide, until the whole board is clear. Koi swim below, ripples spread and petals drift past while you play.
Every board can be won: deals are built so a winning path always exists, and Shuffle keeps it that way. Walk the Lotus Path, 24 boards in four chapters from the little Lotus Bud to the 144-tile Grand Lotus, play the daily board, or replay any board you have reached.
The original tile art uses big, clear designs made for phones: coins, bamboo, lanterns, sun, moon, stars, lotus, jade and pearls, plus blossoms and seasons. It plays on phones, tablets and computers. Lotus Mahjong is an original game made by the GamesYap team. For a calm card game, try Solitaire Sunrise.
Yes. Lotus Mahjong is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. Hints, undo and shuffle are free too. Coins you earn only unlock tile styles and ponds, which change the look of the game.

Yes. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. The layouts are no wider than a phone screen allows, so tiles stay large and easy to tap when you hold your phone upright, and the board also fits landscape screens.
You win by removing every tile in matching pairs. You can only take free tiles, which have nothing on top and an open left or right side. Plan ahead: clear tall stacks and long rows early so tiles underneath are not trapped.
A free tile has no other tile on top of it, and at least its left or its right side is open. In Lotus Mahjong, free tiles are bright and blocked tiles look a little darker, so you can spot your options at a glance.
Yes. Every board in Lotus Mahjong is built so that a winning path exists. If you get stuck, the free Shuffle re-deals the remaining tiles in a way that can still be won, so you never face a dead board.
