Sky Hopper is a free one-tap flying game you can play online in your browser, with no download needed. Guide Puff, a cheerful little sky critter with big expressive eyes, through floating crystal gates above a sea of clouds. Tap to flap, slip through the glowing gaps, and grab shining stars and bubble shields.
Chain perfect passes for bonus stars. Puff grins on a perfect pass, gasps at a close call and celebrates every new best. Each flight has a goal: reach the next sky zone, from Sunny Meadows to Sunset Bay, the Starry Night, the Aurora Peaks and Rainbow Dawn. Sky Rush adds a race against the clock, where every gate adds time and a bump only costs a few seconds.
Take on a daily challenge for bonus stars and spend your stars on seven cute bird skins. It plays on phones, tablets and computers. Sky Hopper is an original game made by the GamesYap team. For another one-tap timing game, try Sky Stacker.
Yes. Sky Hopper is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download or install. Classic flights, Sky Rush and the daily challenge are all free. Stars you collect while flying only unlock bird skins, which change the look of Puff.
Version 2.0.4Nov 2, 2026
2.0.2: Smoother on phones: lighter drawing every frame, less stutter. 2.0.1: Runs smoother on phones: no more sudden freezes, less stutter, and touches are never lost. The points icon now shows where your points go. 2.0.0: Big update: Sky Rush, a new mode against the clock (every gate adds time, bumps cost 3 seconds instead of ending the flight; calibrated so newcomers reach the second zone and good flyers the fifth); a fifth sky zone, Rainbow Dawn, with a rainbow, blossom islands and pearl-gold gates; more light and life in the sky (sun beams, a warm light wash, low mist over the cloud sea, seeds, sky lanterns, fireflies, snow and sparkles per zone, bird flocks, shooting stars, twinkling gate gems); a daily gift, three daily quests, a free daily chest (prize chances shown) and free stars. 1.2.2: Clearer wording: ad rewards give coins only (never points), daily chests show their prize chances, and a few names were made original. 1.2.1: Sharper graphics on phones: the game no longer drops to a low-resolution canvas on slower devices. 1.2.0: Full-screen phone layout: a two-row HUD that keeps the top-left corner free, with a zone progress bar ("Sunset Bay in 4"), the score below the HUD and a two-column menu on landscape phones. Clear goals: a goal card at the start of every flight (reach the next zone, beat your best), a NEW BEST moment with confetti, a daily challenge (stars only) and a next-skin teaser on the menu and the fail screen. Puff is redrawn with two big expressive eyes, brows, cheeks and a beak that opens, and reacts to everything: happy on the menu, determined while flapping, surprised on a close call, joyful on perfect passes, stars and new zones, scared just before a bump, dizzy after a crash and celebrating a new best (every skin). More life: a villager waves from the cottage island and cheers at milestones, camera punch-in and a short slow motion on crashes, a soft music loop per zone and rising perfect-pass chimes. 1.1.0: Big visual upgrade: shaded crystal gates with glowing gems and soft shadows, parallax mountains, floating islands, layered cloud sea, sun rays, starry night and aurora skies, a fully redrawn Puff with squash-and-stretch, trails and particles. Easier start (wide first gates, smoother height changes, forgiving hitbox), first-play tutorial, perfect-pass streaks, bubble shields, four sky zones with moving gates later on, seven bird skins bought with stars, standard continue screen (free continue with timer, optional ad), and a responsive layout that fills phones in portrait and landscape and wide desktop screens. 1.0.2: New GamesYap arcade-night look: brand menus, chunky buttons, glossy panels, star results and loading screen with bundled Lilita One + Nunito fonts; English text and digits everywhere. 1.0.1: English-only text and new store art. 1.0.0: First release.

Yes. Sky Hopper is made for phones: tap anywhere on the screen to flap, with no buttons to learn. It also plays on tablets, and on computers with a mouse click or the Space, Up or W keys.
You keep a character in the air by tapping. Each tap lifts it a little, and gravity pulls it back down between taps. Steer through gaps in obstacles without touching them. The further you fly, the higher your score.
Sky Rush is a timed mode in Sky Hopper. Every clean gate adds time, a new zone adds 4 seconds, and a bump costs 3 seconds, but Puff keeps flying. The flight ends when the clock runs out.
Yes. Sky Hopper has a cute, expressive hero, bright skies and controls that only need a single tap. Runs are short, so it is easy to try again, and bubble shields give younger players a little extra help.
