Taal Tapper is a free rhythm clicker that you can play online in your browser with no download. The Hush, a crowd of silent shadow creatures, has stolen every song from a village, and Rupa, a young dhol drummer, is going to drum them away.
Tap a creature to strike it, and watch the beat ring: tap just as it closes and the hit is perfect, five times as strong. Land ten perfect beats in a row and Taal Lock starts, when every tap is perfect for a few seconds. Gold from each creature buys a troupe of folk musicians and performers who play on their own, from a flute player and an ektara player to a puppeteer, a jatra king and an old harmonium master.
For more tapping games, try Cha Adda, a tea stall clicker, or Brick Field, an idle factory tycoon.
Yes. Taal Tapper is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download, install or buy. Every troupe member, zone and track is free. Gold exists only inside the game, and signed-in players also earn GamesYap points for each boss beaten for the first time and for three achievements.

Yes. The game runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, upright or sideways. Tap anywhere on the stage to strike and use the tabs at the bottom to hire the troupe. On a computer you can also press Space, F or J to strike, which makes keeping the beat easier.
A ring closes on the creature on every beat of the music. A tap within about a tenth of a second of the beat is perfect and hits five times as hard, a tap a little further off is good and hits twice as hard. Only the first tap on each beat can be perfect, so steady taps beat fast ones.
Land ten perfect beats in a row and Taal Lock starts. For ten seconds every tap counts as perfect, wherever it lands, and the whole troupe plays twice as hard. It is a great moment to fight a boss or to clear a tough zone quickly.
From zone 50 you can ascend: the troupe's levels, gold and zones start again, but you keep your Echoes for good. Each echo makes the troupe and your taps 2% stronger, so every new run goes further and faster than the last one.
