Mela Maath is a free idle fair tycoon that you can play online in your browser with no download. The village fair under the old banyan tree stopped ten years ago, and Shapla, a young organiser, wants to bring it back, with the help of Haru Kaka, who once managed a travelling jatra troupe, and Tuntun, a small boy who loves every ride.
Build a peanut cart, a balloon stand, a puppet show, a nagordola wheel, a circus tent and more on the plots of the fair ground. Visitors stroll in and head for the attractions they like, so every new ride brings new people. Each fair lasts seven days. At its end, the visitors you served become Fame, which you spend in the Workshop on better rides for the next fair, from the village fair to the town's book fair and the big New Year fair.

Yes. Mela Maath is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download, install or buy. Every attraction, plot, fair and Workshop upgrade is free. Coins and Fame exist only inside the game, and signed-in players also earn GamesYap points for every fair day and for three achievements.

Yes. The game runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, upright or sideways. Tap the ground to beat the dhol, tap a plot to build on it, and use the buttons and tabs to upgrade, check your visitors and visit the Workshop. On a computer you can also press Space for the dhol.
Two things make visitors unhappy. Some kinds of visitor find nothing they like and go home, and long queues turn people away when an attraction is too small. The Visitors tab shows which kinds need something, and a red warning marks attractions that need a higher level.
After seven days the fair closes and every visitor you served adds to your Fame. Spend Fame in the Workshop on bigger crowds, extra plots, start coins, canopies and better attractions. Then choose the next fair. The new fair starts with an empty ground, but your upgrades stay.
Bigger fairs open with the Fame you earn in all. The book fair opens at 40 Fame and the Boishakh New Year fair at 600. They bring bigger crowds and give two or four times the Fame, so each new fair makes the next one grow faster.
