App Studio is a free idle dev tycoon that you can play online in your browser with no download. In 2010 Tuhin, a young freelance developer in Dhaka, has one laptop, one ceiling fan and a client who never paid, so he starts building his own apps, with Rumki Apu, a former startup founder, as his mentor.
Plan every app yourself from a genre, a platform, a size and feature cards, then help the team code it. Before each release you squash the bugs in a quick bug hunt, and the review tells you what users loved and missed. Hire a team, move to bigger offices and research new ideas from 2010 to 2030.

Yes. The game runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, upright or sideways. Tap the office to help code, tap the bugs in the bug hunt and use the buttons and tabs to plan apps, hire and research. On a computer you can also press Space to code or to squash a bug.
Five things count: the features that genre's users want, a platform that suits the genre, a team big enough for the app's size, the polish your designers add, and the bugs left at release. Each review shows what users loved and one thing they missed, so the hearts on the feature cards grow with every app.
You can always release at once. The team then fixes about half of the bugs on its own, and the rest lower the review score a little. Playing the hunt and squashing every bug gives a clean release and a better score, and testers mean fewer bugs to start with.
From the year 2020 you can start a new studio back in 2010 with one laptop. Coins, team, research and apps start again, but you keep Legacy, which comes from everything you have ever earned and brings more users to every app. You also keep what you learnt about users, and the months pass faster.
