Idle Theme Park Game Tips: Full Rides, Clean Lawns, Happy Families
Idle theme park game tips for Dolna Rails: start rides at the booth, hire operators in the right order, keep kiosks stocked and the lawns free of wrappers.

A fun park is a busy place to run. Families arrive at the gate, queues grow in front of the rides, the snack kiosks empty out and somebody always drops a wrapper on the grass. These idle theme park game tips are built around Dolna Rails, our free 3D park game, where you walk around the park yourself, start the rides, stock the kiosks and keep the lawns clean.
In Dolna Rails you play Joy. He has 100 coins and his grandfather's old fair plans, and his aunt, Rina Khala, remembers when the swings filled the street every winter. "Dolna" is the Bangla word for a swing, and bringing the swings back is exactly the job.
Learn the loop first
Walk onto the Fun Park lot and stand still: the coins flow into the dashed zone until the lot is yours. Then build a swing boat. A yellow arrow always floats over the next job.
The heart of the game is the booth beside each ride. Guests walk in through the gate and queue in front of a ride, but the ride only starts when someone stands at its booth. Stand there and the line gets on. The ride leaves when every seat is full, or a few seconds after the first rider sat down, and then it runs on its own. Every rider's ticket goes onto a little pile of coins beside the booth. Walk over the pile to pick it up.
Stand where the queue is longest
Early on you are the only person who can start a ride, so where you stand matters more than anything. Families of one to four arrive together and pick the shortest line, so the queues stay fairly even. Stand at the booth of the ride with the most people waiting, send them off, and walk over its ticket pile on the way to the next one.
Guests who wait too long give up and leave, and a short hint at the top of the screen tells you which booth needs you.

Stock the snack kiosks
The second stall in the build order is the jhalmuri cart, and its kiosk comes right after it. Every snack works in two parts. The cart makes the snack by itself and keeps a small stock. The kiosk sells it, but only what you put on its counter.
Walk up to the cart and your hands fill up, then walk to the kiosk and the snacks go onto the counter. Carts and kiosks work from any side. About one guest in two buys a snack on the way out after a ride, and pays onto a coin pile in front of the kiosk. A guest at an empty kiosk shows a little bubble with the snack they want, and soon leaves if nothing comes.
Keep the lawns clean
Here is the rule that makes Dolna Rails different from a shop game. Every snack sold leaves a wrapper on the lawn, and a messy park puts families off. Each wrapper on the grass means a few fewer guests walk in through the gate, and a really messy park loses up to half of them.
Your hands carry either snacks or wrappers, never both. So finish stocking first, then make a cleaning round: walk over the wrappers to pick them up, and drop them in one of the green bins by the main path. A short round now and then keeps the gate busy.

Build rides and snacks in turn
The Fun Park opens its rides and stalls in a fixed order: swing boat, jhalmuri, carousel, candy floss, teacups, ice cream, Ferris wheel, fuchka, bumper cars and finally the drop tower. Every new ride sells tickets for more than the one before, and more rides bring guests in faster. The snack stalls between them turn every ride into a second sale.
Walking across a zone does not spend your coins: you only pay when you stand still on it.
Level up your busiest ride
Stand at a ride's booth and a small card at the bottom of the screen shows its level and the price of the next one. You can tap the card or press E on a keyboard. Each ride level adds two seats and makes the ride a little shorter, so the same queue empties much faster. Snack carts level up to keep more and make snacks faster, and kiosks to hold more on the counter.
Level up the ride with the longest queue first: more seats on every run pay off quickly.
Hire the right staff first
Once two rides are open, the HR room appears near the gate. Stand at its desk and a panel shows everything you can buy there.
- Ride operators each run one ride, in the order you built them: the first runs the swing boat, the second the carousel, and so on. Up to six work in each park.
- The ticket clerk brings every coin pile in the park to you, from the booths and the kiosks.
- Stockers carry snacks from the carts to the kiosks.
- Sweepers pick up wrappers and take them to the bins.
- Walking speed, carry more, staff speed, staff carry more and better prices are upgrades.
A strong order is an operator for each ride you have, then the ticket clerk, then a stocker and a sweeper. Operators matter most, because a ride without one waits for you. With the clerk hired, you can stop walking to the coin piles altogether.
Save up for Coaster Hill
The lot next door is for sale too, and it costs far more than the first one. Behind it waits Coaster Hill, with a mini train, sky swings, a pirate ship, a log flume, the Dolna Rails Coaster and a giant wheel, plus popcorn, lemonade, kulfi and roasted corn. Tickets there are much bigger.
Save for it once the Fun Park has its operators and a clerk, so the first park keeps earning while you build the second, which has its own HR room and staff.
Let the park run while you are away
When you come back after a break, a welcome card shows what the park earned. Only rides with an operator, in a park with a ticket clerk, keep earning without you. Away earnings run at a quieter pace and stop after eight hours, so an occasional visit keeps them flowing.
A day lasts six minutes, and at night the coloured bulbs along the fences light up.

FAQ
Is Dolna Rails free?
Yes. Dolna Rails is free to play in your web browser, with nothing to download, install or buy. Every lot, ride, snack stall, hire and upgrade is paid with coins you earn in the park. Signed-in players also earn GamesYap points for each new ride or kiosk and for five achievements.
How do I move?
Drag anywhere on the screen and a joystick ring appears under your finger; the further you drag, the faster you walk. On a computer you can also drag with the mouse or use the arrow keys or WASD. Pinch, scroll or press + and − to zoom. To buy something, stand still on its dashed zone.
Why is my ride not starting?
A ride only boards when someone stands at its booth: you, or a ride operator. Operators take the rides in the order you built them, so your newest ride may still be waiting for you. Stand at its booth, or hire one more operator in the HR room.
Why are fewer guests coming in?
Look at the lawn. Every wrapper on the grass keeps some families away until it reaches a bin. Pick the wrappers up when your hands are free of snacks and drop them in a green bin, or hire a sweeper. Every new ride also brings guests in faster again.
